For various purposes (files, pictures, music, documents, etc.), I'm wondering if there's a way to have a file in more than one place at a time. For example, a picture in My Pictures and a specialized program's folder. (For those of you who use Gmail, I want labels in Windows.)

You can have the same file in as many folders as you want. It is a waste of space on the hard drive but if thats what you want theres no problem. When i burn music cd's i put copys of the files in one folder and burn the cd from that folder. Later i delete the files when they are not needed anymore.

Oops. I can't believe I forgot to say that. I'm wondering if there's a way for a file to be in multiple folders at a time, without being on the HD more than once or using shortcuts. (Like labels in gmail) Sorry.
