As you can see by the meager post count I am new here at geekstogo. I have been reading the forums for some time and finally decided to register because I would love to help people in their struggles with spyware/malware. I write this post to just get checked over before I go on my way of helping other people around here. I wanna make sure I am clean before I go around helping others. Thanks in advance for the help. :tazz:

Hey Rosco!

Actually, you do have files associated with the Transponder parasite.

I need you to move HiJackThis to a permanent folder (such as C:\HJT)

I see a couple of random files on your system. Please run both of these online virus scans:
TrendMicro's HouseCall - check "Auto Clean"
ActiveScan

Copy the results of the Activescan and paste them here.

Hello everybody this is my first post here and I hope you can help me out
with my problem. So.. when I run my quick-checkup (Symantec) button..
it is scanning.. it is scanning... still scanning takes forever and no results.

I thought it might be the problem of errors that I have but it was not.
I was waiting for 3 hours and nothing (stuck at Intergrity Scan - "scanning")

When I installed Windows XP and Systemworks 2005 that worked.
When I installed other programs like MSN etc it stoped scanning like
before.

Is there any tool that repairs Symantec programs installed on
your computer? I`d be grateful for any advice.

best regards,
Dan
