go to start -> run and type command
in the prompt type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes)
then type "ipconfig /renew"
then try to get back on the net
let me know how it goes.

There weren't any changes. It still won't connect.try this.

I don't know what happened, but for some reason my connection on this computer is working again. Hope it wasn't a hacker who wanted to mess with me, although I can't see that happening since I had Lockdown enabled (disables all internet access) after I found out that my connection wasn't working.There weren't any changes. It still won't connect.try this.
