Like the title says, I can't connect to the internet on either of my firefox or my internet explorer browsers, even though it says that I'm connected. When I try and load google or any other site it'll say "server not found". I can't think of anything that might've caused the problem at all. The internet just stopped working around 2 in the morning. (I connect wirelessly to a router which all of my computers share, and only this one is having problems using the internet)

try this.

go to start -> run and type command

in the prompt type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes)

then type "ipconfig /renew"

then try to get back on the net

let me know how it goes.

There weren't any changes. It still won't connect. :whistling:

I don't know what happened, but for some reason my connection on this computer is working again. Hope it wasn't a hacker who wanted to mess with me, although I can't see that happening since I had Lockdown enabled (disables all internet access) after I found out that my connection wasn't working.
