what up everyone??

so being in a dorm, its hard to get up with one alarm clock. So i was thinking what if i programmed one on my laptop. I was thinking about doing it in C++ but wasnt sure where to begin. I have a visual studio so it wouldnt be a proble compiling it. Also could i do it in visual basics or no?

To add: I could do it using ActionScript but would rather do it in C or VB.
