Does Roxio give you the chance to save a log file?

The search section comes up with this so it looks like it

Enable Event Logging Check this box if you want Disc Copier to create a log file for each copy you make.
To change the location where Disc Copier saves this file to, click Change Directory.

Do that, then write to / burn to a folder on the drive, save the log file, leave Roxio open, open the log file, click edit, click find, type error, press enter, what does it say

:whistling: no joy, it reaches 99% and says that it cannot read the disk.

it seems to transfer all the files except video_rm.bup.

I tried to run it another way and the messsage states

failed to read "D:\"

Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

I hope this helps

Load the disc, click cancel if it auto runs, click start, my computer, right click the drive with the disc, click explore, left click the folder, click copy, copy to a folder you create, does it go to the folder

When you explore the disc, can you open any folders in there

Two of the files transfer over with any problem but the third Video RM is only partially transferring, it is refusing to accept one file vidio_rm.bup

Go by file size, you only need the largest one, copy that and see if you can burn it to a folder on the drive

It appears the files video_rm.bup are backup files to the dvd rw disc, you do not need them to copy disc.
Rather than direct copy try creating a .iso from the dvd (save copy to file)or
In roxio try capturing the video content again (from vts file) and re creating a new dvd in dvd builder

The disc is finalised? Not burnt as multi sessiong - I am not sure what you mean by this?

I tried to copy the disks information into a new file but when it came to the final video file an error message came up:

Cannot copy VTS_01_05:Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

The only other file i can not copy is the 20KB BUP file
