After logging on, the following message appears: "NPROTECT has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program." Nortons Antivirus does not indicate a virus. A couple of anti spyware programs I have run have not fixed the problem either. What can I do?

NPROTECT.EXE belongs to Norton Antivirus. The message simply means NAV is not compatible with something else you've installed (SP2 usually). Look on Symantec website for free updates or check out it's support area. I don't use NAV but I do know it's caused problems for many (which is one reason I use something else instead).
