can any1 tell me what wmiprvs.exe is? i been finding this on startup ...i know of wmiprvse.exe. also got some tmp files with full internet access i dont know why (Set3.tmp, set10.tmp, SetA.tmp, SetC.tmp etc. and a file just called porting - no info at all) and when i blocked these wmiprvs.exe disapeared, however the tmp files (and porting) just unblock themselfs for some reason but wmiprvs.exe doesnt come bak so if any1 cud tell me wat any of these things are it wud help.

It is a worm/virus/trojan check for viruses. You should wait for a reply from an expert who will tell you to go to a malware expert.

well i have run numerous virus scans and anti-spware/adware and they gave me the all clear, however these things are still there

everything i see on it is that it's malware or a virus

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty (and you may not be) then post a hijackthis log in THE MALWARE FORUM forum.
(Posting HiJack This logs in any other forum other than the malware forum is forbidden. If you post an HJT log in any other forum, it will be removed and it will take you longer to get help, so please make sure you only post HJT logs in the malware forum)
