Hi,

I have made a simple Gradesheet for recording students grades, and progressively calculating the average letter grade at the end of semester one and semester two.

My problem is that I need a formual that will automatically round up the letter grade (based on 1-15 points, where E- equals 1, and A+ equals 15) when the point value is 0.75 or higher.

Eg. A "C" equals 8 points, a "C-" equals 7 points and a "C+" equals 9 points. If a grade average is 8.75 - or higher, I need it to round up to 8 for the "C" grade.

I'm a real beginner with this, so feel free to chop or change anything in the spreadsheet.

Any help will be much appreciated!

I tried to attach the spreadsheet but the system disalowed it with that extension. I'm not shure what to do ...

I think I see what you are trying to do. Can you zip the file up and attach it that way? Just browse to the file in My Computer and right click on it and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder.

I'll take a look and see if I can figure it out for you.
