Hi, I am not sure if I am in the correct forum to post this but...I have been sent an Apple Mac document that I cannot open in Office for Windows 2000 and XP, has anybody any suggestions about how I can access this document? It just says that it needs to "import the correct format" and then cannot do so! Any help would be appreciated. :whistling:

You will have to ask the sender to re-open it on his/her mac and re-save it in "Rich Text Format" (.rtf). Microsoft Word for Windows should then be able to open it.

Thanks for that, I will try it. It is annoying because Apple Mac o/s .doc (microsoft word) files should have no problem in being opened with Wins XP o/s
