Hi, I am not sure if I am in the correct forum to post this but...I have been sent an Apple Mac document that I cannot open in Office for Windows 2000 and XP, has anybody any suggestions about how I can access this document? It just says that it needs to "import the correct format" and then cannot do so! Any help would be appreciated.

You will have to ask the sender to re-open it on his/her mac and re-save it in "Rich Text Format" (.rtf). Microsoft Word for Windows should then be able to open it.

Thanks for that, I will try it. It is annoying because Apple Mac o/s .doc (microsoft word) files should have no problem in being opened with Wins XP o/s
