My computer was infected with the W32.Licum virus. We tried to run Norton, but it said we needed the disc. I didn't have it, so we bought new. Still wouldn't run. We ran a system restore. Everything went well with the original XP hardware, computer restarted, and I was able to access the system. However, when I try to install the XP Service Patch 2, the monitor turns a light blue and reads, "Please wait......" 12 hours later, it still says to wait. Anyone have any advice? What do I need to do?
