I have a 40 gig internal drive on my system that is full. I purchased a 250gig external drive and transfered all my important files and deleted lots of old files and apps that I no longer use. The problem is that this has only freed about six gigs. I have done a search to find hidden video, music and picture files and I am not yielding anything big. Where are the extra 30 gigs that I cant find. I have also used a cleanup utility that has not yielded much space.

thanks
Allen

Do you have games installed? Anything of that nature? I would check the Add/Remove Programs list to see which program is being a space hog.
