Here is my problem, which I am hoping does not need to result in me trudging to Best Buy to get the Geek Squad to fix.

I recently bought a Motorola SLVR phone, which has the iTunes feature. I already had iTunes installed on my computer, but I took it off and redownloaded the version that came on the CD from the box of my phone (thinking it's better that way and my phone will definitely mesh with that program). Installation went over fine, and I clicked Finish. I double clicked the icon that installed on my desktop to open iTunes. Viola- NOTHING. I got a "sandtimer" wait icon from the mouse, like it was thinking, and then nothing. I ha since tried to reinstall, but to no avail.

Is there something blocking this on my computer? Perhaps a virus? Everything else seems to be in working order.

If everything worked fine until you installed from the CD then it's probably something that has to do with the program itself... Have you tried downloading the latest iTunes version from www.apple.com ?
