Hear what...

Friend of mine give me a pc to fix.
It is not booting...
i open the pc, i find no RAM, no ide cables and everything is unplugged.
i buy all the parts and i fix it.
it still not booting....
i take my power supply and put it in
it still not working...
i see a burnt part on the board, but before all of this, i do the following to try to fix it...

i remove my memory, my processor, my power supply and my hard drive, not all at once, but at different times when i fail in booting it up.

so, now my system won't load windows....it keeps freezing at the windows XP boot screen.
i change my memory, my hard drive in an attempt of reloading windows, but it also freezes when it says Loading Windows from the windows cd....

any advice or help??????

it just freezes........

i try to load a bootable cd version of Knoppix and it still freezing....

any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
