The USB ports on the front of my CPU don't seem to be working. Should I just get one of those USB port expanders and hook it into the back where I have workable USB ports? Or is there some way I can get the front ones to work.

a usb hub would work for getting around this problem if your rear ports are working...

the front one's may have gone dead...or something may have gotten unplugged...have you been doing anything inside the computer recently (i.e. right before this happened)?

also check the device manager to see if all the usb controlers are functioning properly. also look for dust inside the ports.
