Hi,
I have a laptop that works perfectly except that it randomly freezes or the screen goes blank and won't come back on. The only way to get it going again is to reset it. The laptop is a Toshiba A70 and runs WindowsXP Home Edition. Thanks for any help!

i'm not a malware expert but i didn't see anything in your log to suggest that this is caused by malware

have you updated your graphix card drivers recently? any other software?

does the laptop feel l ike it's geting warm?
http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php go there and download speedfan run the program and monitor the temperature of your laptop...see if you can catch the temps right before the computer locks up

I haven't noticed that the laptop is hot before it freezes, but I installed speedfan and will monitor the temp. About the graphix card. Thinking about it now, I'm not so sure if I have updated the driver. I wiped out everything on my computer and made a clean install a few months ago. I don't remember perfectly but it almost seems that the freezing started then or at least got worse. Could that be the problem?
