I just reciently installed windows xp media center edition on a customly built pc for media center and when I tryed to play a DVD I got an error, "video decoder error". I installed a third party dvd player software thats supposably compatible with media center and I still get the same error. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

DVDs can be played through third party applications such as power DVD and windows media player but it wont play through the media center menu.
