My Compaq Presario 2200 laptop's dvd/cd drive occasionaly doesnt close without forcing it to. And the most recent time it decided not to close I ended up breaking something. In forcing the drive closed, the 50 pin jae cable was pinched and not has a couple of the wires broken so that the drive no longer works properly. I am wondering if I can simply replace just this cable. If it is replaceable, where can I find the part because I have spent a few hours now looking around online and also where would I find some basic instructions as far as taking the cd/dvd drive out.

Thanks for the help
