Hi I have McAfee on my system (Windows ME) and it has identified a file with Trojan VBS\Delfile. McAfee is unable to clean it as that part of the disk is write-protected.

When we bought the system there were no software CDs. When I complained I was told everything was loaded on the system and could be re-installed with the boot up disk.

The problem is that the Trojan is sitting in one of these backup directory's and can not be cleaned by McAfee. I have tried removing restrictions using DOS and running McAfee in Safe mode but I have run out of all my options! Please Help!!

P.S. I worked as an It Support Analyst before my children came along and I am disgusted at my attempts to resolve this!!!!!!!!
