Okay, so here's the deal. Had a virus/trojan/malware, w/e on my computer, ran CWShredder, rebooted in safe mode and that's when it happened: explorer never poped up. Didn't pop up when I rebooted in normal. Tried forcing it open in task manager, through "explorer.exe", "explorer", and finding explorer through the browse function. In safe mode, when I force up explorer, it gives me the little pop up informing me that I am in fact in safe mode, but that's it. It's acting funny when I try to open stuff up in task amanger, too, like not finding files in My Documents.

I have no idea what's going on or why this happened. I don't believe it's a virus, as I had a post in the malware and believe I've taken care of the virus aspect. Is there any way to get explorer back?

Thank you.

Not internet explorer...that still works. explorer.exe doesn't work. Have to bring everything out thru task manager.
