I'm trying to reinstall winxp on my pc but keep getting the following message:
"Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your pc"

I have checked the bios and the sata2 drives are there. (All HDD auto settings on with the exception of SMART)

When I try to boot from the xp cd rom it takes me to the xp install/repair menu, but when i click install it comes up with the above message.

If I try to boot from the hdd it gives me the following error message.
"NTLDR is missing"
I also get an 0x7B stop error message.

This is doing my head in! I did the install first time fine and it all worked, but wanted to change OS to the other drive when this happened. Formatted the non os drive, got past the xp install format screen and the suddenly the NTLDR message followed by the 0x7b.

Drives=Sata2 Samsung x 2 (non raid setup) (no jumpers)
MB= Asrock 775xfire-eSata2+ (floppy only needed for setting drives up in Raid)
xp pro

Help!!
