Cant access th web 5 mins after boot

Ok about 5 to 10 mins after I boot my pc my ie and firefox stop working. I can still use aim and bittorrent but ie and firefox stop working. So obviously its not my internet connection. Im scanned my comp with adaware, spybot, avg, pc cillin, cwsshredder. They found a few things but nothing has changed. Any ideas?

Try Reinstalling the drivers for the modom and see what happends.

Some Brodeband usb Modoms are a bit funny! Not funny haha, funny weird.
