Just did the repair.. still did not work, explorer keeps crashing when I open my documents and I cannot windows update because explorer crashes when i open internet explorer.. excuse my language but [bleep]

hey Keith, I ran the memtest for about 9 hours over night.. and showed 0 errors... time to format? lol

and if it comes down to a format, I have 2 harddrives, the first is partitioned into C:\ and E:\... so if I transfer files to the E:\ and "format c:" will that affect the E:\ partition?
