Please use the Windows Search Assistant(Click Start>>>Click Search)
Configure like this:

Open the Search Assistant,
Select All Files and Folders,
Select Advanced Options,
Make sure there is a check by these 3:

Search System Folders
Search hidden files and folders
Search Subfolders

Now under All Files and Folders,enter this into the text box:
ti2evxx
Tell me the exact locations of all the returns you get!

HijackThis says it here:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\?ti2evxx.exe

Please use this link and have any files with ti2evxx scanned for viruses!

Once at the Site,select the Browse tab and navigate to the System32 folder and search that entire folder for any entries ending with that Text,remember the ? can be anything,letters or numbers!

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [A70F6A1D-0195-42a2-934C-D8AC0F7C08EB] rundll32.exe E6F1873B.DLL,D9EBC318C
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [98D0CE0C16B1] rundll32.exe D0CE0C16B1,D0CE0C16B1

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Please delete your temporary files. Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)
You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin
Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Reboot and post a new log.

When I did the search, I found two files:
C:/WINDOWS/Prefetch/ATI2EVXX.EXE-1F7B9ED6.pf
C:WINDOWS/System32/ati2evxx.exe

However, when I went into kaspersky to scan those files ending in ti2evxx in System32, I was not able to find any when I browsed for them. So I did not do the scan.

I did run Hijack and deleted the two files that you instructed. I did a reboot. Here is my new Hijack Log file.

Everything seems to be running great. I really appreciate your help. I know it has been somewhat tedious for you dealing with such a novice. I appreciate your patience. I will definitely recommend this site to others in need of computer help and will come back myself if I ever need to (hopefully I won't.) ;)

Congratulations! Your system is CLEAN :tazz:

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use) Click Here.

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

These next two steps are optional, but will provide the greatest protection.
1. Use ANY browser besides Internet Explorer, almost every exploit is crafted to take advantage of an IE weakness. We usually recommend FireFox Posted Image.
2. Install Sun's Java. It's much more secure than Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine .

It's okay to delete the Hijack This folder if everything is working okay.

After doing all these, your system will be thoroughly protected from future threats. ;)
