Help removing awvtt.dll [RESOLVED]

hi
recently i got couple trojans. i think i removed most of them, now i still have this awvtt.dll file left. and i cant remove this file, i used killbot and it didnt work. and my norton, ewido and trojan remover seems is not picking this file up. so please help

Please download VundoFix.exe to your Desktop. (if you already have it, then download it again because you might have an older version).

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Turn your computer back on.
It will make a log in C:\vundofix.txt, please include that in your next reply along with a new Hijackthis log.

I know my computer still has Trojan is because when I'm using IE, there are still pop ups and my IE just closes on it own sometimes. Killbot can find awvtt.dll, but it just can't delete it.

Browse for this filename: C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvtt.dll in the first filename box
In the comments, please mention that I asked you to upload this file
Click on Send File

Run VundoFix

Once the scan is complete, right-click inside the listbox (white box) and click Add more files
Copy & paste the 2 entries below into the top 2 boxes:
- C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvtt.dll
- C:\WINDOWS\system32\ttvwa.*
Click Add Files and click Close Window.
Click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES.
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a fresh HiJackThis log.

Let's try this..

You may want to print out these instructions or save it as a text document, and use them as a reference. If you have any questions regarding the fix, please ask us before proceeding. It is also important for you to don't miss a step and perform everything in the right order.

Reboot into Safe Mode

Restart your computer.
Before the Windows logo appear, tap F8 repeatedly.
A menu should appear, select Safe Mode from the menu using your arrow keys and then hit Enter on your keyboard.
This will take a while than usual, so just wait.

=====================================

Run VundoFix

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
You will receive a message saying Vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK.
When VundoFix re-opens, click Scan for Vundo button.
Once the scan is complete, right-click inside the listbox (white box) and click Add more files
Copy & paste the 2 entries below into the top 2 boxes:
- C:\WINDOWS\system32\awvtt.dll
- C:\WINDOWS\system32\ttvwa.*
Click Add Files and click Close Window.
Click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES.
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
Turn your computer back on.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a fresh HiJackThis log.

I don't think VundoFix can be ran as a task in safemode, I waited forever, but nothing came up. So I did a normal scan.

VundoFix needs to be ran in Safe Mode so it can delete the files.. Please run it again without checking Run as a Task. :whistling:
