IE driving me nuts

Thanks, in advance for helping me with this problem. It's driving me nuts.
I get the following error at www.mydomain.com :
"Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site www.mydomain.com
Operation aborted"
All other pages on this site can be viewed and it can be seen in Firefox.
I have cleared my cache and history, uploaded the page numerous times. It shows in my cpanel.

PS. I would be glad to PM the actual domain, just don't want to post it here.

I don't know if this is any way connected, but I seem to get a lot of errors on other pages that aske me to send the error report.
Also, running V. 6

Here's another problem. Not sure if it's related.

The instruction at "0x0171cd11" referenced memory at "0x0171cd11". The memory could not be "read"

I have tried the 2 repair suggestions and they seem to have made no difference.
