Glad i found this site. I have a problem with my computer. I have read your section on the steps to take and tried getting rid of spyware and virus's but no signs of any of them still. I have also tried the winsock utility.

First, my computer kept on rebooting every 15 minutes due to system failure. So then i unchecked automatic reboot. I got the blue screen constantly every 20 mins. After seeing this message for the next 3 days I decided to try a system restore. It worked for a day or so, until i got this message which i found on this forums in another thread. i also noticed that when i tried to download windows update for windefender, the computer would always show sys fail and automatically restart.

This is what i am experiencing with the "Services.exe has terminated due to a Status Code 203" error from NT Authority and that it will shut down in 60 seconds" message. I can't get on the internet because it either freezes from no response from the router. i also get many programs freezing when running simultaneously. When I use my laptop on the router it works fine after the 60 second shut down message. Every time i start my comp up i get this message. I just read about the shutdown -a command. Did a virus scan/stinger scan and nothing came up. I am using zone alarm pro and ewido antimalware. Here is a log from hijack this.

i have windows xp. i also have ewido version 3.5. I just realized that 4.0 is out and am running it now on my pc in safe mode as the i nstructuions say.

To summarize:
1) my comp shuts down every 60 seconds
2) my internet is not working, says connecting to verizon modem but got error 678, the remote computer didnt respond. all other laptops can connect to internet though
3) takes forever for my pc to load programs and shut down

now version 4.0 logs
