I bought a Tungsten E PDA and it worked fine with Windows 98. I got a new computer with Windows XP Home Edition, and I cannot get the PDA to hotsync. I get the following error: the connection beyween your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Pease check your setup and try again. I have the Hot Sync manager turned on also.

Thanks

Confirm that your Hotsync software is compatible with Windows XP and/or the Outlook version on the new computer. You may need to update it. Check Palm's website.
