Please disable Ewido Anti-Spyware by opening the program and on the Status page - beside "Resident Shield" click on "change status" so that it says "inactive" for it may interfere with our HJT fix.
  • Remember to reactivate this feature when all our work is finished.

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order in which they are mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
  • First we need to make all files and folders VISIBLE:
    • Go to start>control panel>folder options>view (tab)
    • Choose to "show hidden files and folders,"
    • Uncheck the "hide protected operating system files" and the "hide extensions for know file types" boxes.
    • Close the window with ok
  • Please RUN HijackThis.
. Click the SCAN button to produce a log.

  • Place a check mark beside each one of the following items:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [rpcc] rpcc.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ControlPanel] C:\WINDOWS\system32\perzum.exe internat.dll,LoadKeyboardProfile
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WinFixer2006] "C:\Program Files\WinFixer_2006\uwfx6.exe" /min
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [KillAndClean] "C:\Program Files\KillAndClean\KillAndClean.exe"
    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {6685509E-B47B-4f47-8E16-9A5F3A62F683} - file://C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\Sy350\Tp350\scri350a.htm (file missing) (HKCU)
    O16 - DPF: {7DB362AD-E0BB-37AF-E0E1-79947DCFC4A6} - http://85.255.114.166/1/rdgUS2516.exe

  • Now with all the items selected, and all windows closed except for HJT, delete them by clicking the FIX checked button. Close the HijackThis window.

  • Reboot Your System in Safe Mode

How to use the F8 method to Start Your Computer in Safe Mode

    • Restart the computer.
    • As soon as BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the Advanced Options menu appears.
    • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe mode menu item
    • Press Enter.
  • Using Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E), locate the following files/folders, and DELETE them (if still present):

rpcc.exe<==File. You will have to Search for his one
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\perzum.exe<==File
internat.dll<==File. You will have to Search for this one
C:\Program Files\WinFixer_2006<==Folder and all its content
C:\Program Files\KillAndCleane<==Folder and all its content
C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker<==Folder and all its content

  • Exit Explorer, and REBOOT BACK INTO NORMAL MODE

  • Finally, RUN Hijackthis again and produce a new HJT log. Post it in the forum so we can check how everything looks now.
Regards,

The following program is an undesireable and I strongly recommend that you uninstall it.

LimeWire 4.9.33 : Please see: http://www.bleepingc...ire-4.9.33.html

To clean up your log please do the following. If you decide to keep LimeWire, just disregard the instructions that pertain to it:

1. Open HJT, click scan and place a checkmark beside the following entry:

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {6685509E-B47B-4f47-8E16-9A5F3A62F683} - file://C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\Sy350\Tp350\scri350a.htm (file missing) (HKCU)

Now with all windows and browsers closed, click Fix checked and EXIT the program.

2. Please restart your system in Safe Mode (Instructions previouly posted)

3. Using the Add/Remove Programs module in your Control Panel, uninstall LimeWire 4.9.33

4. Now using Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E), please locate and DELETE the following folders and all their content.

C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker
C:\Program Files\LimeWire

5. Restart your system in normal windows Mode

6. Once this is done, Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Virus Scanner (Use Internet Explorer as your Browser)

Note: If you have used this particular scanner before, you MAY HAVE YO UNINSTALL the program through Add/Remove Programs before downloading the new ActiveX component

Next Click on Free Virus Scanner, then Kaspersky Online Scanner

  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Standard
    • Scan Options:
    Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
  • This will program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information into your next post along with a fresh HJT log.
