I have came across a machine that when you turn it on it has a long beep then 2 short beeps , then the light below the "A" stays on. The "A" I am talking about is the one that is located right above the numbers keys on the right side of the keyboard. The screen stays black and the machine wont come on.

Hey there mj_138, welcome to Geeks To Fo Forums.

It sounds like you have a video card problem... I could recommend taking your graphics card out and maybe spraying the Pc with a compressor, including the Video card... Then put it back and make sure it is in properly. Then try again.
