I've a windows 2000 server os and when I get to the ctrl alt del prompt, i login with local admin account, it shows the applying settings box, then acts like its going to pull up the desktop, but instead says, saving settings, and brings me right back to the ctrl alt del screen. I work on this system with remote desktop and i can't boot it in safe mode etc. Before logging it also says that one or more services failed during start. I managed to get the error logs from the system event log.
