Go HERE and download Realtek Audio Driver. Extract the files using the default settings and then try updating the driver again.

Extract the contents to a folder on the desktop.
RIght clikc my computer.
Go to hardware
go to Device manager
Find the audio driver with ! beside it
Ricght click and select unistall
Press the "scan for hardware changes"button. (it looks like a computer with a magnifying glass on it.)

the installation for your sound card should begin.


It will ask you to look automatically for drivers or select a folder.

choose select a folder.
click next

choose "i will choose the driver to install"
click next

Click the "have disk" button
Select the folder that you extracted the contents to earlier.
select whatever driver shows up.

click ok
it will start installing
