Whenever I try to start Steam or any of the associated games I get the same error:

"Debug Assertion Failed

C:\Program Files\Steam\steam.exe
File: BootStrapperApp.cpp
Line: 393

Steam has previously worked on this system w/no problem. Please help!!!!!!


Forgot - If I hit "Ignore" as a choice I get: " Steam.exe (main exception): Win32 StructuredException at 0040D662 : Attempt to write to virtual address 4085775 without appropriate access rights."
