I built a PC with the MSI K9N Neo-F (NVidia nForce 550 series chipset based) MoBo. I am using Windows XP Pro 64 bit Ed., AMD 64 Athlon 3200+ Socket AM2 Processor, MSI RX1300 Pro TD256 E PCI Express Video Card.

I cannot get the MoBo's onboard audio to work, Windows does not read that I have an audio device on the PC, I have installed latest 64 bit drivers for the onboard audio (Realtek ALC883).

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Have you checked the bios to make sure on board audio is enabled?
