Hi I'm new to this great site, and have inherited a 4 year old Packard Bell P4 machine, but there is a problem .On startup I get the message "File Vgaoem.fon is missing. Press r to reinstall from your CD..You are ahead of me..this machine has a recovery partition for restoring, not a CD. I've done some searching, and have now obtained the file vgaoem.fon, and saved it to a floppy. At the DOS Prompt I've got C\,and I' ve tried everycofiguration of words I can think of to transfer this file, without success.Do have to change the C\ prompt? If any DOS expert could give the EXACT line I have to type I would be extremely grateful. Regards,Ron.
