First of all, what are HDR Bloom and AA?

High dynamic range lighting is a new level of super realistic lighting effects, its easier to turn it on if you have lost coast the hl2 demo try that and you immediatly see it. Bloom is a poor mans HDR but it isnt as good. AA is anti alisaing its a image filtering method smooths out sharp edges make things sharper and softer where they should be(at least on ATI Nvidia AA just removes sharp edges)
