I have a new laptop with wireless on board.
I have AOL Broadband Internet provider on my PC fed from my phone line supplied by NTL Cable through AOL's modem that uses a USB port, not an Ethernet card that I don’t have installed.
AOL says they do not support wireless, but also say I can use a Netgear wireless router but don’t suggest one.

My questions are,

1, What wireless router can I use?
2, Do I need to replace the modem?
3, Do I need an Ethernet card which I will have to remove my sound card to make room for? (no real problem I have sound on board)
4, Or if I keep the AOL USB modem will I need extra cables etc?

What do I buy please?
Ta……..Robin..
