Since I rebuilt my old Intel Hewlett Packard PC with a AMD chip, I thought I would ressurect it and introduce it to some new friends on the Internet (3 years old and never surfed), that's the PC, not me !!

Anyway, I installed XP SP 2 and when the PC rebooted, it went into a frenzy of reboots. I have spent sometime trying to track down the cause, and believe it to be a hardware conflict where I changed the MOBO and chip from Intel to AMD, something to do with SYSPREP. Well thats the technical description of my problem, can anyone suggest how I can overcome this frustrating issue, as I need to update to SP2 with the impending demise of support for SP1 on the near horizon.
