DVD Burning IS NOT BURNING!

Hi,
I havr some files i want to burn to DVD. I have done this lots of times before. Now, What happends is it fails and i get this error Meg

Power Calibration Error.


I went into the log and found

#123 CDR - 1106 File Writer.cpp , Line 304
Power Calibration Error


I have a " Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-108 "
Win Xp Home 5.1
Nero Burning Rom- Software to burn

Please Help!

EDIT: I have only installed SpeedFan to have a look at what it is like. Have Not Uninstalled!

Is there an option to use a slower recording speed

Have you checked for a firmware update, which needs to be correct as most are irreversible

Do you get the same result with this

ok.

Now it will burn and it says that it worked and then i put it in the DVD player or try to watch it on the computer.

NO WORK!

Use a DVDRW for this because it watermarks the output as a trial version

If this works then it can be Nero

If it does not, it can be the discs or the DVD Writer firmware may need updating

I updated the firmware LAST WEEK. An there is no newer verision.

I have tryied nero, BlindWrite and Cd Burnerxp.se

Is blindwrite more for games

CDburnerxp would not produce a disc which will play on a DVD player
