I am looking to buy a new desktop, and a lot of them have windows media center. I was wondering if there is any difference between them other than windows media center pcs have different hardware?
Thanks,

All Media Center is is XP Home with a different skin and a heavy bias on multimedia hardware - TV cards and what not. Apart from that there's not a lot of difference.
