I just installed Windows XP Professional. My old HD was formatted.

Before the installation my display card was 128 mb Ram. Now it's saying 96 mb.

the display card is:

mobile intel® 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express

Does your machine share system RAM with the display adapter?

Perhaps you have onboard video.

well you can adjust how much memeory is delegated to the onboard graphics through your bios
have a look there and change it back to 128Mb

and if your that worried about it you might want to purchase a stand alone grahics card...
