The computer is a HP Pavillion zv5000 with XP sp 2.
When I try to start windows normally I get this error code:

Stop: 0x0000007e, 0xC0000005, 0xf764e4d0, 0xf964afc8, f964acc4

When I try to log into safe mode it stops at:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\tiumflt.sys

Ihave tried the XP repair by booting from CD, and have run chkdsk, chkdsk /p & chkdsk /r from the Recovery Console. chkdsk said everything was fine. chkdsk /p said that it found one or more errors, and chkdsk /r goes until it hits 50% then up to 75%, and then back to 50%, repeating itself.

Any ideas?

Im not sure about this... but when i had a problem with my xp.. and system recovery didnt work... i reinstalled XP... so my files werent lost.

Note: If you are going to reinstall XP make sure all your files are not encrypted, other wise you will not be able to access them.
