Confusion over 360

Hi,

The reason I'm posting in this is because I'm planning on getting an XBOX 360 platinum system and I was just wondering if you can used the wired contollers on that one, as I have look at pictures of both the core and the platinum system and I know you can used wired contollers on the core system but on the pictues of the platinum system the place where you plug the wired contollers in looks as if it has been closed off but some peoplehave said it used like a door that covers the ports up.

So I'm very confused, please help :whistling:
