Hello.

I have a problem with installing Call of Duty 2. It installs and when it is done the installation window just shuts down and nothing is installd.
Have searched this forum and found some pointers like renaming the Installshield folder so it is installd again but that didnt work. The game worked just fine before i formated my harddrive and installed everything again.
If you have any more tips how i can make it work i would be very happy. It would spare me the work of formating and installing everything again.

My computer specs are:
Pentium 2,8
1 gig ddrram.
Geforce 7800 GS 512 mb AGP.

Thanks.

I dont have a problem with uninstalling it but installing it. But i did try the manual uninstall procedure listed here but i didnt have any of the files it said i was to remove so those files were not the problem.
There must be something wrong with the installersoftware on my computer beacuse i could install this program before i formated my harddrive.

Ok, Hemme, I want you to try this: uninstall C.O.D 2 completely, then delete the folder from your Program Files. I then want you to restart your computer, then try re-installing the game. Also, you may want to close any programs or software that may interfere with this process.

Well the thing is it isnt installed on my computer at all. But i got tired of the problem, it wasnt just COD 2 tht wouldnt install so i formated the computer again and didnt install Service pack 2 and voila. It works to install. Cant say for sure it was SP 2 that was the problem but acording to some other sites other people have had the same problem with SP 2. But its weird beacuse before i formated my computer i had SP 2 and it worked ok.

But thanks for the help.
