Hi,
Well I am back hoping to get some more help. My curent situation is that I am trying to install the drivers for a new vid card (ATI Radeon X1300-AGP) and they will not install properly. I tried to install by uninstalling the old drivers, going into safe mode and using a driver cleaner/cab cleaner >restart and then intalling the drivers from the disc that came with the vid card. However some bit of ATI software gives me a message saying that drivers are not installed and the vid quality continues to look horrible. Am I missing a step here? Is there something underlying that could cause the drivers to not install?
Thanks!

hi smichael,

A little more information please.

Which Windows version?
Motherboard make and model?
Memory make and amount?
Expansion cards fitted?
Exact make and model of graphics card?
All relevant BIOS versions (motherboard and graphics card..)?
Driver version you have installed and what your trying to install?
Have you tried official drivers downloaded from ATI.com?
What is the error message exactly and what is the application causing it?

I know it's a lot of info but it'll help us help you ;¬)
