my hd is not removable

for some odd reason my computers hard drive shows up as removable device.
i have no idea how this occured. tried restarting computer but problem persists

any way it is a SATA hard drive 250gb.

any idea how to correct this cos this never happened before

There is nothing to correct.

This is intended behaviour, because SATA drives were intended to be plug & play in the same way Pen Drives are. The same thing happens if you have card readers installed, external drives and a lot of USB devices.

Not all boards like you doing this however, so exercise caution.
