Click start then run, type services.msc then press enter, look for print spooler, double click, set the start up type to automatic, start the service

Click OK / apply, reboot

1. open a Command Prompt window (Go to "start" "all programs" "accessories" "command prompt"

2. key in the following:

sc config spooler depend= RPCSS

(note there is no space between the depend & the = but there is a space after the = before the RPCSS)

3. press Enter

Did what you said and this is what it said... files that are needed to run windows have been replaced by unrecognized versions to maintain system stability windows must restore the original versions of these files insert your windows xp professional service pack 2 cd now.
She doesn’t have the disk. She doesn’t even have an Internet connection. Do you have any suggestions on what to try next?
I/we really appreciate your help
