Problem with DoD, and all other games too.

My problem is, my fps are droping from 90 fps to 25fps for 1/2 seconds. It is happening even on the menu page before i even go in DoD. This is DoD 1.3. really dont wanna have to format C;

2gb mem
Geforce 6800 ULTRA 256MB
Processor Name: Intel Pentium M 770
Processor Speed: 2.13 GHz

Hav you tryed updating the drivers?

I had this problem and I updated all my drivers and it went away.
