Missing Pointer

[font=Arial][size=7]I am a beginner looking for some assitance. After turning on my pc everything boots up fine until I get to the choose a user. When this screen comes up there is no pointer to select anything. I have tried to use keyboard to enter as well, and get nothing. I have started in safe mood, still nothing. I nedd you help. Thanks for any suggetstions.

Press tab twice whenever at the login screen and hopefully one of the login names will either highlight, which in that case press ENTER, or will ask you for the password. If this does not work, then I would use the Windows XP disc to restore system.

**If restoring**
Can save the harddrive info by taking out the harddrive, slaving it, and reinserting it into another turned off computer. Copy files onto host computer. :whistling:
