I would appreciate any help I can get.
This problem started out with the soundcard or driver not functioning and the message Generic Host Process for Win 32 Services encountered problem.
I ran through Clean Up which freed up 2 GB of space.
I ran as-aware SE which found errors and fixed.
I ran CWShreder in safe mode - found nothing.
I ran Spybot S & D which found the same items that ad-aware se found and fixed and fixed again.
I ran the ewido antivirus in safe mode and found the same items plus a trojan and quarantined.

At this point everything seemed to work it was late. I turned the computer off and went to bed.

The next morning it was like I had not done anything.

I ran through clean up which freed up another 95 MB of space.
Ad-Aware did not locate anything.
SCShredder in safe mode nothing.

I ran the report before I quarantined so ignore the No action taken.

I ran the trend housecall and it found the adware programs again and tried to quarantine. I thought it worked.
I ran TrojanHunter and found the Adware programs and quarantined again.
I checked to make sure we had the most uptodate windows and we do.
I re-booted.

I longer get the errors but still think I am infected as the Windows audio will not come automatically anymore.
