Cant Install Acrobat Access denied

Just tried to install Adobe Acrobat - have never had any problem installing software. Got an Access Denied message that I don't have admin privileges. Hope I don't have the same problem when I try to install Office 2003! Any idea why my admin privileges are apparently revoked - its my personal computer. THANKS. Have a rush job to get out. :whistling:
